I designed a logo for Digital Security Systems before creating the brochure they requested. The original, designed by the client, was a simple square with four triangles going around it clockwise. This was based on a standard electical symbol which had the arrows going counter-clockwise. I abstracted that idea into a circular shape with the arrows chasing each other clockwise.
